Sheep Bridge Crossing Camp Out

Posted by

20160416_145227This was our first organized, actual camp out.  Well, for us anyway, others in the group have camped at the end of our rides, but we just weren’t ready, until now. This was a perfect spot to try out our new equipment.

We had perfect weather, not too hot, not too cold, and no rain!  Putting up our new tent and our new air mattress turned out to be hysterical, but we did it. We had a great spot right on the river with a view of the bridge.

This was our grandson’s first Jeep trip, first camping trip and first time meeting everyone. What a fun time.

Love a campfire, especially with good friends.

The trail goes from I-17 at the Bloody Basin exit, 38 miles to the Bridge and campground. The we returned out the Cave Creek so we made a nice loop out of it. Many thanks to Mark for suggesting this trip, it was awesome!

Hopefully not Arman’s last trip with us, he is highly entertaining!

See you all next month for Pyeatt Draw, more info to come, stay tuned!
